I have decided I will give Facebook a break (no, seriously). I will from now on upload here any stupid links on music, news or whatever that I used to post there. Why? Well, I have my reasons. Let's just say life is so much better when you are not on Facebook. And if I am to feel the imperious need of sharing I have this.
So here, to start: Cream. I have despised Eric Clapton and all stereotypes about that crying guitar my whole life. Tears in Heaven makes me want to go out on the streets of Neukölln and kill. But eventually the time comes when you have to look over your hate and prejudices and surrender to the awesomeness of real good music.
So, enjoy Sunshine of Your Love. I am writng a paper on the Sopranos and Italian American stereotypes. You may recall the song from the bar scene in Goodfellas, when de Niro twistes his face and decides hes a whack about everybody. Brilliant, brilliant movie. I wish the paper was not due in a couple of hours or at least I was finished with it so I could watch it today again.
